The Tartan Curling Club, located at 1464 Broadway Avenue has been a cooperative venture since the late 1950's. Originally known as the Civic Service, it became the Tartan Curling Club in 1965.
The Tartan Curling Club is a ten sheet facility complete with lounge, kitchen and pro shop.
The Tartan caters to all ages. We have a "Curl for Kids" progarm for boys and girls in grades five to eight on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons as well a junior program on Saturday afternoons.
Mens and ladies club curling take place on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evening. Also, there is mixed curling on Friday and Sunday evenings.
The Tartan Senior Men curl on Monday and Friday afternnons as well as Wednesday mornings. The Tam O'Shanter ladies curl on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and the Matinee Ladies curl on Wednesday afternoons. Various commercial leagues curl on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday nights and Saturday and Sunday mornings.
