The Regina Symphony has undergone a series of transformations over the course of its 100 years, responding to the challenges and opportunities of changing musical and cultural tastes.
One thing has remained constant: The mission of the RSO is to promote and enhance the performance and enjoyment of live orchestral music in Regina and southern Saskatchewan, and contribute to the quality and cultural life of the city, province and nation.
The RSO has a reputation of sustaining a symphony orchestra of the highest artistic quality. Maestro Victor Sawa, Music Director/Conductor, influenced by the greatness of Leonard Bernstein, makes the music understandable and accessible to all.
